Our research interests include:

(i) creating artificial photoautotrophic cells with high solar-to-product energy conversion efficiency;

(ii) assembling microbial consortia or engineering bacteria to improve therapeutic efficacy or develop novel therapies for cancer and other diseases;

(iii) developing experimental and computational techniques for metabolic flux analysis and quantitative metabolomics.
