On January 9, 2026, the School of Life Sciences and Biotechnology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University held the 6th the 6th International Forum for Young Scholars on Frontiers in Life Sciences. The forum brought together 14 outstanding young scholars from over a dozen internationally renowned universities and research institutions, including the University of Oxford, Yale University, the University of Washington, the University of California, Berkeley, the University of California, Los Angeles, Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, the University of Minnesota, the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health (USA), and Peking University, for in-depth exchanges and discussions. The forum was chaired by Associate Dean Zhang Lei of the school.
