免疫治疗在抗感染与肿瘤治疗中有着重要的作用和非常广泛的临床应用前景。尤其是肿瘤免疫治疗，在近期获得了飞速的发展，被Science杂志评为2013年十大突破科技进展中的第一位。本实验室从基础肿瘤免疫学入手，着手于发现新的抗肿瘤机理和靶点，发展新的肿瘤免疫疗法，具体方向如下： 
1.研究肿瘤微环境中的各种细胞组分对肿瘤免疫的抑制机理，发现新的肿瘤治疗靶点； 
2.发展基于抗体的靶向肿瘤免疫治疗手段； 
3.发展基于T细胞修饰的细胞过继性肿瘤治疗手段； 
4.发展基于重组蛋白以及免疫活化的肿瘤疫苗和病原微生物疫苗；
