September 1 –3, 2011 at Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Biostatistics involves the theory and application of statistical science to analyze public health problems and to further biomedical research. Recent advances in basic biology, medicine, pharmacology and agriculture present new challenges for the design and data statistical analysis. The workshop aims to provide training to undergraduate, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and multidisciplinary researchers who are interested or already engaged in statistical analyses in their own research area.
